Newborn sessions typically have one of two flows in my studio:
If new baby has a sibling, we start with sibling photos and then do family photos. I typically ask parents to invite grandparents or family to these so that as soon as sibling is finished with photos, they can leave. Newborn sessions can be pretty boring for siblings ;) Then we move into all baby-only posing.
If new baby is the first-born, then we start with baby mugshots until they get super sleepy. This allows us time to really capture baby's expressions and personality. Once baby falls asleep, we move into prop posing and then wrap up with parent posing.
This sweet girl had so many great expressions! I'm also such a sucker for a baby with a ton of hair <3
