You have questions
I HAVE ANSWERS
Newborn photography is a specialty all its own. You have a new baby on their way, and you want to make sure this is the right session for you.
If there's a question that I haven't answered, feel free to contact me!
Where is your studio?
My studio is located at Spring Street Studios in the Houston Heights area. An exact address is sent in your newborn prep packet once you book!
How long is a session?
A session typically lasts around 3-4 hours. This gives time for getting baby nice and sleepy as well as feeding breaks as needed.
When do I book?
Families typically book during their second trimester. However, I occasionally have last minute openings, so feel to reach out if your due date is approaching.
How do we know which date?
I only accept a set number of newborns each month. This is because I hold off weekends surrounding your due date. As your due date approaches, keep me posted on how you're progressing. Once baby arrives, we will decide which date works best.
Are we in the photos?
Only if you want to be! Sibling and parent photos are included in the standard session, but if you opt out, then I do additional posed setups to ensure a full gallery.
How many images are in a gallery?
A minimum of 40 images will be available for your choosing.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself and baby! I provide all photo props including hats, headbands, etc. If there is something of special importance to you, feel free to bring it along so that I may try to incorporate it.
Are you vaccinated?
I'm up to date on all vaccines including the TDAP (Whooping Cough) vaccine and also receive the yearly flu shot.
How do I book?
A $200 retainer is required to secure a date. Reach out to me as soon as you're ready to book, and I'll get you set up!
